Very well done dude!
I am doing it much the same, just with the clutch assist adn stability off.. Haven't really tried clutch on the controller, I get the feeling I'd just be clutch kicking the car sideways all the damn time :rollsmile:

Clutch is pretty much required with controller for doing fast laps in my experience. Make A clutch, X and B for shifting. Takes some getting used to, but now I can't play any other way. I'll do some laps this Sunday, waiting to move house.

I hate using the bumpers on my controller, they stick or somme don't work sometimes, so had no choice

If you don't have the whole setup, seat, etc, then the guys at GForce Sim can do a bundle, but I wouldn't buy a wheel now that's compatible with the 360 since I don't think that carries over the Xbox One/PS4 etc. Depends what console you want to drive on and if you want to use PC as well, then I can recommend one.

Yes sir, Xbox 360. But most probably I will only upgrade to Xbox one by January next year.

Then I'd recommend this rig and wheel combo with the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 steering wheel, unless you can find the wheel used and just buy the rig. Then when you get the Xbox One, you upgrade the wheel and pedals and just switch out the mounting plates and brackets for whatever wheel you move to.

It took a good 15 laps to realise a 1:07 was doable, and more than another 15 to do better than a 1:08.2 or something like that. As soon as I got into the 7's I was done! Never playing again This car understeers so much and then snaps into oversteer on gear change. You have to let the car coast until you have your line, instead of braking too much otherwise you powerslide on your way out.
