Did a couple of laps today and managed a 1:55.587..... I might give another go in a little while.... Bugger’s time might be in danger.. :fencelook:

Was also thinking, there is some fast lads on here and some not so fast... so do we look at some kind of handicap system to make it more competitive? My aim when we started this was to give everyone an opportunity to win...

What do you guys think??

The Logic we apply here will be carried over to the Forza 5 challenge when that eventually kicks off...

There was the 1:55.587.... then a 1:55.225..... AND then a 1:55.200....

So I figured, shit.... a 1:54.** is definitely possible. But no more time to play today and off to Durban in the morning for the week.

Maybe I’ll crack the 1:54.** next weekend.

I reckon it's on. It's that last tight right before the start/finish that's key to it. Despite the line saying keep tight to the apex, you actually have to go wide and straighten the corner and accelerate out. I just couldn't quite get it right, but I do think that a sub 55 is definitely there for the taking!:thumbs:

I don't think we should have a handicap Herman. I didn't know that i could get the time i did without some sort of benchmark. With just this challenge I have learnt alot. I thought i was good before. Now i know how much i still have to learn. When i get a chance I will try to get into the 54s. I know where i can shave some time off on my laps. Just need to get the time to play.

Thanks for that, your response is exactly what this challenge is all about, pushing to your absolute limit and then discovering you can do better and better…. I was just thinking Handicap to give the slower guys a chance… but they might be better on another track, who knows.

I got a 1:55:8x

As hard as i tried i can't do better. I had to tune the car to get that time but i am not a pro racer so I dont know how to set up suspension. Just played around with downforce and gear ratios.
