Hi Crazydetailer

Tell us more about this new Foam Lance you have coming up?

How does it work? What's the price?

Cool no probs.

The foam lance is the same one we've been bringing in for the past 2 years. Works well and will only fit the Karcher K series. I rate it a must have in my washing routine because I strongly feel the more dirt you can remove in your prewash, the less the risk of scratching your paintwork during the wash process.

The CD Foam canon out performs the standard soap dispensors that come standard with most pressure washers by a mile!

The benefit of using a foam canon to deliver the soap to the vehicle is that it doesn't require you to touch the vehicle, which could rub dirt against the paint. The CD Foam Cannon sprays the vehicle with a thick coat of soap to loosen and lubricate dirt. On dusty or lightly dirty vehicles, you may not even need to hand-wash. The Foam Cannon HP minimizes the amount of hands-on contact with the vehicle, which can minimize wash-induced swirls.

The CD Foam Cannon is capable of such a high volume of foam, a vehicle can be completely whiten'd out. The foam clings to vertical panels and provides the lubrication you need for a safe car wash. The foam provides a pre-soak that loosens dirt and grime so hand-washing is easier.

The CD Foam Cannon is made from brass for maximum durability, fitted with a 1 litre fluid tank for tour shampoo mixture.

A vertical jet nozzle is included so you can apply foam or rinse in a sweeping side to side motion. This nozzle allows you to work around and then down the vehicle, which is the recommended way to wash a vehicle.

Only the Karcher K series :bawling:

Are there no attachments one could use to make it fit a Black&Decker?

We only bring them in for the K series as it just keeps the ordering process simple BUT

Maybe we can get a list of those who would be interested with other pressure washers ?

We can then order those units separately.

I bought that Verimark Gorilla Spray gun 8-in-1. What a waste of money.:thumbdo:

I need to fill that little shamppo bottle a couple of times while washing the car or have to move really quick around the car. Also, the damn hose keeps shooting out wetting me and everything else :thumbdo:

How does your product ovecome this problem?

Thanks Bud

Firstly, the business end of this thing and ANY decent foam lance uses brass which is rated to handle the pressure and not some cheap plastic.

Secondly, this thing (and any decent foam lance) has a variable control knob that lets you control how much water/ concentrate mix exits the nozzle. Typically, you can cover your car 2x with really thick proper foam, and still have some mix left in the bottle.

Thirdly, you have a much larger reservoir of mix (concentrated shampoo and water) to work with than the cheapie "lances".

Fourthly, you can control the spray diameter from the nozzle (on this one and any decent foam lance), so it can spray in a vertical line 2-3cm in with and about a metre in length, or open it all the way and have it just spurt suds, most of which will land on the floor anyway. careful calibration of all the above will give optimum results.

Fifthly, the thing uses a specially designed mating device to connect the lance to your Karcher gun so that it cant accidentally slip off, even under pressure.

Finally, this is not a verimark product that is produced by the millions on a high defect production line with a philosophy that if it breaks, we will continue to give the customer a new one until eventually we give him one that would have passed the quality standard checks (if we did have them).

Most importantly, remember that many of these things are a, you et what you pay for type of thing. A R199.99 (or whatever the price is) cannot do the same job as a high quality engineered product.

Just to be clear, I do not own the crazy detailer foam lance. I actually imported mine from the UK in 2012.

Works like a treat and price was great.

If you are into properly washing your car, a foam lance is a necessity.

If you are going to do something, do it properly, or not at all, but that's my opinion anyway.

The Foam lance will do two passes over the entire vehicle easy from the 1 litre bottle. I mix about 30-40ml of snowfoam with hot water. So you use less product as well. Those spray gun thingies are more of soap dispensers than anything. You would get the same results if you had to use the Karcher built in soap dispenser to be honest.

This is the CD foam cannon in action. To be fair, the setting is set to "jet" not even spray (which should generate even more foam) but you get the idea.

Wow. This thing is great. Excuse my ignorance, but does it plug into the hose or do I need something else?

Also, do you have a similar nozzle that can be used to rinse off the car ?

Not quite. The foam lance will only work with the Karcher high pressure machine. The pressure of the machine is what generates the foam. You do get the foam masters overseas that work with the hose pipe but they are just as expensive as the foam cannon and still not as effective.
