Firstly, the business end of this thing and ANY decent foam lance uses brass which is rated to handle the pressure and not some cheap plastic.
Secondly, this thing (and any decent foam lance) has a variable control knob that lets you control how much water/ concentrate mix exits the nozzle. Typically, you can cover your car 2x with really thick proper foam, and still have some mix left in the bottle.
Thirdly, you have a much larger reservoir of mix (concentrated shampoo and water) to work with than the cheapie "lances".
Fourthly, you can control the spray diameter from the nozzle (on this one and any decent foam lance), so it can spray in a vertical line 2-3cm in with and about a metre in length, or open it all the way and have it just spurt suds, most of which will land on the floor anyway. careful calibration of all the above will give optimum results.
Fifthly, the thing uses a specially designed mating device to connect the lance to your Karcher gun so that it cant accidentally slip off, even under pressure.
Finally, this is not a verimark product that is produced by the millions on a high defect production line with a philosophy that if it breaks, we will continue to give the customer a new one until eventually we give him one that would have passed the quality standard checks (if we did have them).
Most importantly, remember that many of these things are a, you et what you pay for type of thing. A R199.99 (or whatever the price is) cannot do the same job as a high quality engineered product.
Just to be clear, I do not own the crazy detailer foam lance. I actually imported mine from the UK in 2012.
Works like a treat and price was great.
If you are into properly washing your car, a foam lance is a necessity.
If you are going to do something, do it properly, or not at all, but that's my opinion anyway.
