Good afternoon

My friends that know me all know that when I say I am going to buy a car, I take forever and a day. I will look, stare, kick the wheels, test drive, read up, investigate, question the owner and go on and on until I am comfortable. After that I will do the necessary finance and take it from there. so as you know, my heart was always set on a M3

so I eventually found one which was quite well looked after. I was not expecting to find a brand new car or a mint condition but I did find one that was not molested. like with anything, a little time and elbow grease, I am hoping to get her to her former glory. its not going to happen over night but I will keep you guys posted.

here she is Diamond Black E36 M3 German Spec

thanks man

E36 M3
I will be the 4th Owner
260 000km on the clock and never been opened
Stock stock stock standard - not even an exhaust or airfilter upgrade or change
Black Vader Seats
all electronics still work

the thing that sold me on the car was the fact that every slip was given to me, service manual, owners manual, radio manual and all the tools. The previous owners really kept their hands on the car. The last owner purchased it from an enthusiast, took it straight to the service company that usually services his car and spent R9000 just to do all fluids and filters eg, engine oil, gearbox oil, diff oil, coolant, brake and steering fluids

the car was driven as a Sunday drive etc..

my things that I would like to do
Seats need to be cleaned up
sunroof tilt goodies need to be replaced
want to fit iSimple RCA-in unit which attaches to the original unit
upgrade speakers
then re-spray and clean up all the small bits and pieces
then smash and grab tint

oh, almost forgot.. my friends say I am spoilt.. My wife bought it for me :rollsmile::rollsmile::rollsmile: but this means a I don't get gifts for any occasion over the next 10 years apparently.. LOL

Very nice. I'd consider removing those two quarter splitters on the front spoiler. They weren't standard on the two door and only came on the four door E36 M3. Price new ones at the agents and you'll know why I'm suggesting this. They are unbelievably easy to graunch when parking and I don't think it's worth the risk leaving them on.

thanks bro... I wanted one since it was launched. a buddy's bro had one in 1994 and drooled over it for years. I have been looking for one for 5 years. I found a few but something always came up and I couldn't get it..

Soooooo, my wife got tired of me being mizzy when it didn't work, so she bough this one for me.

Drive it in good health and change nothing on it unless it is a stock item......that goes for the radio as well.

thanks guys.. she will be staying as stock as I can. I don't even want to fiddle with exhausts and stuff. I was driving her around a little. my word, that horns kept coming out. I was driving her enthusiastically.. LOL.. not hard or raping her..

I will post some more pics once I have given her a nice once over and a clean. just going to do tie rod ends, breaks and alignment tomorrow. Then getting an alarm fitted. then on Saturday, going to give her a nice clean. will take loads of pics
