Hi fellow Fanatics.
Just thought I'll do a quick introduction. Been an old member of the group. However I have been BMW'less for 13 years!
I bought a 2004 e46 320i this week. Very happy with the car. Will be using it as my daily. Averaged 12km/l over the first 300km.
Full BMW seevice history. 151k km on the clock. Checked the history today with Paarlberg BMW, the previous owned took really good care of this car. Biggest bill was R10k, done last year for belts, tentioners etc.
Things to do:
- tappet cover gasket (already bought, will fit it within the next week or 2.)
- brake pad sensor warning light. Pads new, replaced the sensor today. Light off.
- oil seperation drain pipe seems to be leaking. Will check that when I do the tappet cover gasket.
- detailing to remove shopping mall dents. Any recommemdation in Paarl or Kuilsriver area?
- aux cable to be fitted
- CD shuttle have some hickups. Will open it up some time.
