Hi

I'm relatively new to the forum, but I've been watching the for sale section a bit. I bought a 2009 BMW 325i e92 Coupe Auto last year. I've always loved the shape of the e92. It's still completely stock and it's still such a joy to drive everyday (traveling 100km a day). This is my 3rd BMW, but it's is definitely the most modern from my previous BMW's. Since I've owned the car, I've only been taking it to SMG Tygervalley (closest to me) and their service has been great.

I'd love some recommendations on oils, fluids and any aftermarket parts that the community collectively thinks is better than stock. Don't have many photos of my car by here's one.

Welcome advice and general discussion.

welcome bud.. congratulations on your purchase.. thats a solid engine you have there, and it also helps that you are at the coast with an n/a engine...i know for a fact i'm going to regret selling my e92 335i

A solid car. Good choice. A mate has one and says that apart from high fuel consumption (open to correction, but this model has a detuned 3.0i motor?), no major issues.

Beautiful car! Congrats

Yea pretty sure these have the detuned motor from a 330i. A simple tune should push the power up closer to 190kw.

Take a look at this thread: https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/threads/e82-125i-ecu-tuning-160kw-n52b30.81106/page-5#post-1452130

I am pretty sure the E92 325i and the E82 125i do not run the same motor. The E92 is a 2.5 l and the E82 a 3.0 l.

Same motor, different displacement (n52b25/n52b30) and breathing system (maybe some other things that I cannot confirm).
