Afternoon everyone
I recently became the proud owner of a 2011 BMW 320d. In January I went for an interview at a different company and subsequently accepted. Which meant that I had to get a new car as I had to return my company vehicle. Luckily this was a single cab ford ranger base model (easy to say goodbye to!). Immediately I started looking on Gumtree and saw this one advertised.
After meeting the owner, checking the history (thanks to Cois and John for the help) I started the finance application. This almost cost me the deal as it took so long. Luckily the seller was patient, apparently he had quite a lot of calls.
Back to the car, it's a 2011 BMW 320d LCI, manual, no xenons unfortunately, full service history with 98000km. Got 4 new tyres as part of the deal. Its definitely not perfect, it had spraywork done, clutch and flywheel was replaced but interior is still in great condition. I drive 20 km a day in city traffic and still my avg consumption is sitting at 6.8l/100km which is damn impressive!
Overall very happy with the car, power delivery is smooth and love the colour and the rims. Mods and upgrades will have to wait until later in the year unfortunately. Going to Ross Duncan next week for the 1st service, hopefully there are no major repairs to be done. Longer term goal would be to do all the basic service items myself. Some pics:
