Difficult at first, but slowly you get the hang of it.
I started off conceding alot of goals, so then concentrated on my defence, then once i could draw a game i moved onto attack.
I also noticed setting the right formation helps.
My console picked up i previously played Fifa 12 so automatically chose level. (Cant remember what it is). It also picks up your previous trophies.
Im playing with Man Utd in the Premier League.
I got it a week after launch and still find it really challenging.

I'm into my 3rd or 4th season now on Fifa13...been playing since launch.
Epic game and my game of choice honestly.
Get the hang of defending...The game is all about tactics, so your formations, player morale, form etc is important.
I play with Liverpool, with not much of the Liverpool squad left. My strat for the next season is to use a team built mostly of youth players so I've recently sold a few good players for lotsa pounds - to name 2:
Eden Hazard I sold for 60 mil pounds
El Sharawee (CF) sold for 35 mil pounds
Other transfers of mine
Torres - 37 mil
Munian - 25 mil
Santi Cazorla - 25mil
Pato - 38 mil
Neymar - 20 mil
Transfer prices are based on how well your player does and his age
My 2 first 11 strikers atm are Suarez and Aguero - both valued over 65 mil

Busy finishing my 1st season on amateur. Started off on semi pro but struggled a bit. Dropped down to ammateur to get my skills up.

I play on World Class + Tactical Defending. Got used to the revamped style of defending in '12 so it wasn't so difficult when I started playing '13. Dribbling, passing and shooting are quite different to '12 so on average someone would probably have a week of frustrating gameplay before they get the hang of everything.
