An update on my most expensive Transfer.

So Suarez (29 in my career) has been my leading man for 3 seasons and has one the golden boot on more than one occasion, player of the tournament, player of the month, player of the season awards etc...

While playing last night I was approached by Madrid to purchase Suarez for 74 mil pounds - He was worth 67mil according to the game valuation.

I counter offered with 100mil and Madrid came back saying they willing to part with 94mil only...I thought FTS I'll bump my initial counter offer hoping that I will deter them but also seeing where they hold out.

I bumped my offer to 100 600 000 pounds and they came back to say that they will go ahead. I was shocked and then was hoping the deal would fall through based on personal terms..but alas, Suarez was sold last night. I'm sad, but in the same time I now have a 2.4 mil spending budget. I'm buying good replacements for cheap. I picked up Ayew and Dellatorre for a combined sum of around 30mil before the Suarez sale and cleaned out alot of the unused players.

+10000 started buy Fifa on my PS1 and have bought every year since!

I've got Lewandowski on 93, Cazorla 91, Walcott 90, Gotze 91, Ramsey 90, Vermaelen 88. Plenty youth players aswell, I think I'm playing too much.

I'm playing on XBox... and 13 has been the most realistic yet, no runaway victories and yeah free kicks are hell...

My Xbox is reserved for Fifa only while other games are played on the PS3...lol

I just feel more comfortable playing Fifa with the Xbox controller.

Fifa11 and 12 the finesse shot was key to winning games, even in free kicks. In 13 you need to drop it like it's hot. Every year I can't comprehend how they will improve on the previous version, but every year EA surprises me :thumbs:

PS. I had Walcott in my team and sold him after 1 season. He just couldn't break through in my squad. He was actually more effective playing CAM than on the right for me.

So what's your formation and game tactics?

Formation - custom 4-4-2 - Diamond Wide
Defence - Cover
Tactic - Attacking (Sometimes, against the Barca's and Madrid's of the world I'll use Defensive with Counter Attack)
Level - Pro (But I'm winning like 3/4-0 now so will up it to WC soon

Wifey bough me FIFA 13 for Xmas, great game, i jump from playing FIFA 10 for two years straight to FIFA 13, lots of changers but loving it. Love the transfer window period.

Playing on Semi Pro at the moment with Man United., much more involved than FIFA 10, had to get used to the passing and the fact that a playing can injure himself if played the full 90min.

Champ League is great as well. The stronger teams really go at you.

Love the way your opponents come at you in the last 10 min or so if you are one goal ahead.
