Feedback From this weekends CAR-FINATED EVENT held at Auto Bavaria BMW

Good Day Fanatics.

Fresh off the bat from this weekends events, BMWFanatics would like to get some feedback from members with regard to the venue that was used and the format.

CAR-FINATED was a new name which is now trade marked to BMWFanatics in replacement to Cars & Coffee which Noone can use any longer. Hope that clears up the name which a lot of guys were asking us about on the day. It's aimed to be a chilled social event with BMWS and off course some caffeine

Now we have some questions with regard to what members think. Please take some time and give us some feedback.

What do you guys think Of AUTOBAVARIA as a dealership?

Would like to see us partnering up with them on more events?

What you think of us forming a relationship where there can be benefit for members in terms of new and used car deals, parts as well services for cars in plan and out of plan?

What did you guys think of the dealership as a whole?

What would you guys like to see at future CAR-FINATED events?

That dealership is amazing. Venue is superb.. Great location for epic sunset photos..

Unfortunately I was not able to attend, so I can't comment on the venue.

I think we should have a person like John from leo haese there. Someone who is active on the forum as well, so he/she can persuade those who need to be persuaded or even make decisions to a certain extent that may be beneficial for all. (Read: more beneficial for us BMWfanatics members)

I am sure John is an asset where he currently is, but we also need a John at a dealership.

Cars and coffee is now register by another another company. Nobody is allowed to use the name for an event any longer.

Yeah look we were told last year that we can no longer make use Of the name and it even went to extent that our partners were emailed and told they the name they associatkng themselves with is an infringement on the C&C. That's all water under the bridge now and we not gonna waste time trying to fight with anyone any longer.

Car-Finated is now a registered trademark of BMWFanatics and nobody can tell us we can't use it

This thread is to focus on what guys who attended felt about the dealership and event as a whole.

Howsit bud,

The KZN events team has approached three dealerships in the province to try and get them on board. This has been ongoing since November last year, unfortunately, right up until March, we were either given no response, or the run around.

The team has made alot of effort, visited the dealerships, but sadly we can only play ball with those that want to, none the less, we are still positive that at some point they will realise the value and benefit for a partnership for upcoming events. :thumbs:

The name and logo for Cars & Coffee was applied for in South Africa by an Italian Company (Cars and Coffee S.R.L) who owns the rights in Italy as well.

They own the rights to the Cars & Coffee name and logo marks in the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and in terms of the Madrid Agreement in the states which are a party to the Agreement.

The marks are owned by a different company in the US and Canada.

The only addition I can think of would be more personalised interactions with the product (beyond what a normal visitor to the dealership would be exposed to). Maybe some passenger rides or test drive or two. Think if there are any potential buyers in the woodworks there's a strong possibility they could come from the forum, so may be in dealership's as well as our interests to try and negotiate that.
