I read most of the books by Frederick Forsyth, but textbooks have kinda killed reading for leisure for me.

I'm a pretty rigid character so, once I like a certain thing, I try to get my grubby paws on everything I can find relating to that certain thing. So much money has been "wasted" over the years on my hobbies, I shudder. As this is about books only, here we go:

As a kid I read Tintin comics, and still have the whole collection, in various states of disrepair. Maybe I should recollect them in new condition....nooooo!!! LOL

Then I have about fifty books on BMWs, can't pick a favourite, but Jeremy Walton's "Unbeatable BMW" is up there. In addition, there are about fifty period brochures, and hundreds of old and new magazines.

There is then my Titanic and trans Atlantic ocean passenger liner books, numbering about one hundred, each being great in their own way.

Last, but not least, is my Star Wars book collection, numbering around two hundred books pertaining to all aspects on how the movies were made and their impact on pop culture. No novels, as not much of a fiction reader.

Actuallly last are various dictionaries, an atlas, some sports and non-BMW car books, some history books, and a book on the Coelacanth.

This excludes all the car parts, collectable memorabilia, scale models, a pinball machine, mountains of toys, obviously the real cars, my old Atari console with games, and a little smut :)

Recently bought, therefore my current read "Killarney - 50 Golden Years of Racing". Impressions so far? Nice large coffee table style book printed on high quality art paper, plenty of great photos, and easy reading. It's a limited print run of 1500 copies. Good reading for local racing enthusiasts.

I see a couple of Cussler fans here... I buy every one of his books when they come out, as well as Wilbur Smith and Dale Brown.
