Well the car is at Lenny Karam motors in Randburg. 93 oxford str, Ferndale, randburg
Well i'm booking plane tickets tomorrow if i get my finance approved(provisionally approved, just check all facts) and all is well at dealer, unless someone can tell me not too. Very excited and nervous as hell. My current car is 99% sold and goes on saturday.

If you could have a look zaleonardz i would be great and very much appreciated.

2002 525i touring E39 white auto 130k km which i think is low. There was one in Cpt with only 102k km but could not get to it in time. I would have prefered a manual box but they are so rare that i settle for steptronic.

The auto box is a easy fix :)
If you want to do the auto to manual convertion there are a couple of guys on the forum that can help you with that.
Good choice going for a touring

Drive the auto until you get the TCC slip code, which means new torque converter to fix. Then just do a manual swap instead of replacing the torque converter.

For now ok with the auto.
I mountain bike and with the bike behind a sadan it cash a lot of wind. so much the i could feel the difference on my 3.0 nissan maxima. That is why I'm going touring so to reduce with on the bikes.

Also the front end of the E39 is of the most beautiful of bmw's for me

Agreed.

Just remember the touring has a different rear suspension, and the rear subframe bushes are fluid filled where the sedan is solid, and I can almost promise you these will be due for replacement...

Shocks will also likely be due and various other pieces of suspension. But fix those and you will have a really amazing car!
