Fatal accident Constantia Neck last night. BMW?

That pic looks nothing like a polo, and no way it could have been any of the other two vehicles, cause I don't see how you gona survive a wreck like that.

Three vehicles have collided into one another on Constantia Main Road in Constantia near the Constantia Nek Circle. A man was killed, while two women escaped with minor injuries.



Paramedics arrived at the scene to find what appeared to be a VW Polo hatchback with substantial front end damage. They believed that the vehicle may have crashed into the side of the mountain after the impact with the other vehicles. Sadly, the driver and only occupant of the car did not survive his injuries and the man who appeared to be in his 40′s was declared deceased.


The two other vehicles involved, also light motor vehicles, were occupied by a single driver. Both women suffered relatively minor injuries and were thoroughly assessed by paramedics. One woamn was treated on scene and taken to Victoria hospital for further care. The second woman decided that she would not require further treatment at hospital and left the scene privately.


The cause of the accident is unknown and will need to be investigated by the necessary authorities.

I wouldn't call it as a private test track

A mate of mine's mom was driving her 320i in that EXACT spot not too long ago and her wheel got caught on a tree stump that was protruding out of the ground, flipped the entire car and rolled down the embankment. If it wasn't a BMW, she'd have died. Crazy stuff!

That damage is from some insane speed, cars dont come off that bad often.

How do these accidents keep on happening? One person was killed in this accident on the R24 Magalies, so sad, but thanks to the GPS ALS for informing us. RIP.
