It is with a heavy heart i sit at Lee's house staring at the screen, hearing each key click and echo down the corridor of a now very empty house.

Lee and i started our friendship off in a rather interesting way..... a message on a whats-app group with him needing some advice on a TDI Seat. If you dont know already i am mal about diesels. anyways the conversation carried on and soon we met up a drink here and there. slowly but surely his house became my pit stop on the way home and basically a shelter for weekends while we spoke "kak" and worked on cars. Lee could be classed as a young collector with his 320D wagon, LCI 330d E90 (crazy fast and almost beat me Seat TDI, golf MK3 Turbo, 1973 mini and the monster....... x5 3.0 SD e70.

after going into hospital on Tuesday for chest pains he started to recover well and was full of beans as always. jokes rolled off his tongue as quick as all the sarcasm lol but this came to an abrupt end last night when i got a call. not the kind of call you want but i am grateful i could go through to say my last good bye's

lee's passing has had a major impact on me on a very deep level. as you can see if you reading this far down i am not good with words or expressing myself but all i can say is i miss the guy terribly and i am sure many of you will too. i dont know his forum name or even how to search him but i am sure many of you will know him.

He has left behind a long term relationship and a 5 year old little boy. cutest kid i have seen in my life. Lee was the sole bread winner in the house but now that has all been tuned upside down.

SORRY admins if i am breaking rules but i am asking please with tears in my eyes should anyone feel the same as i do and know what or even have a slight imagination of the stress, hurt, heart break and pressure on his lady to provide for the little one, its tremendous.

Guys I am asking for help here please. Something I been driving and distributing far and wide. What ever response we get would be highly appreciated. She is in a desperate situation and let’s rally together and help

I know we would like to help Danelle out through this time... Below is her banking details - If you can donate whatever you can to assist with Funeral and general day to day expenses-It will be appreciated. Lee was the Bread Winner, and in this economic time being without work is rather difficult. Im sure we can assist.

Name: D Daffue
Bank: Capitec
Acc Type: Savings
Acc Number: 1238358150
Branch Code: 470010

the details of the funeral will be communicated later the week but all likelihood is for Thurs next week.

thank you for reading this post and to those that have already sent me lovely messages and his family it means alot to me.

some of my memories

Sad news to wake up to in the morning. I only met him once, which was at the charity run last year. I recall his station wagon as well and his plans his make it more special.

From our one meet, I already took a liking to his manner and his passion for the brand...

Condolences And strength to his family and friends...

This was a big shock to me when I saw the whatsapp messages on Wednesday night when I had to make my baby a bottle.
I always enjoyed happing Lee k@k, including Kyle, both with the slowest 330d's in the RK group. Lee always tried to help where he can!
Still can't believe it! Feels unreal!

We all need to make time for our loves ones! You'll never know when where and how.

Kyle keep strong buddy!

Lee till we meet again bud! You have the advantage now buddy! Build a super strong coal burner up there!

Condolences to the family mate. Going through the exact same thing with my little brother who passed end of November suddenly leaving a 3 year old daughter and a wife who doesn't earn much. I was paying for all his treatments and still the bills keep coming. Not a pleasant situation to be in losing someone and then still having to find a way to support the family left behind especially with young children.

Thoughts are with his family. No words can be said to ease the pain.

It’s heartbreaking to have to say goodbye to someone at such a young age without warning.

Everyone who has had the privilege of meeting him are in agreement about what an awesome and helpful guy he was, so many people will miss him dearly.

We can only hope Danelle and the little one and all the people he left behind can make ends meet and stay strong through this time.

Good luck buddy @low_flyer
