Farewell BMW

Hello All,

I sold my 2011, 320d, LCI a few months ago as I was looking for a smaller car,

I fell in love with a 2016 Polo 6C GTi, DSG and before you know it I signed on the dotted line,

I joined the VW forum and was wondering how many of you are active members on both forums (VW and BMW)?

Chat soon.

Ex Audi fan here.
Google DQ200 gearbox issues and oil consumption issues and you would see why I defected...

320d is pretty much a "small" car in my opinion. Also pretty small in operating cost & consumption.

I hope you enjoy your new new VW!

Thanks Buddy,

I agree, the VW forum is dead compared to BMWFanatics but do you know of any other VW forums?

4.6m long x 1.8m wide f30
5m long x1.9m 2wide SWB 7 series (f series)
3.9m long x 1.6m wide polo mk5

The 3 series is pretty much not a small car, let's not even talk about weight. :tease:

BTW a mx5 Nd which is considered a small car is 1.9m long x 1.7m wide.

Biased much?

I would take a 1.4 petrol over anything diesel everyday.

Different strokes :smilebounce:

@Dewald Basson , you say this now..... Been driving the wife's 1.4 Polo for the last few months and recently bought a 320d to replace it.. I wish I could agree, haha.

Can't say I would take the petrol over the diesel :fencelook: Like for like, petrol wins for me.. The one thing I don't like with diesel engines is everything is delivered in a short rev range as opposed to a petrol engine, where you work for it. But the fuel consumption on the other hand...

That said, I don't miss the Polo on the highway :roflol:

Yep very biased :sorry:

The 2016 Polo GTI should be the 1.8TFSI if I'm not mistaken .....definitely going to be alot heavier on fuel than the 320d. Probably a little more powerful though
