Family life vs Gaming Time

I have found it extremely difficult to find time to play games recently due to family commitments.

Having to help with the housework cos my wife works as well makes things really difficult to find a good amount of time to play games.

That, plus my 28 month old boy who wants to play with me ( I cant play games in front of him unless I want to turn him into a zombie hunting, alien decapitating, suicidal driving maniac).

I wonder how many of you people here are married / in a relationship / have kids and how do you find time to play games, if at all.

I normally play once my 4yr old goes to sleep and the wife watches series. It's tough on a weekend though cos there's so much more to do

personally i never watch television, in fact i dont even own one.. so time that would have been spent in front of a tv usually gets spent in front of a pc.. catching up on news, watching documentaries or movies, working, or playing mw2 or something online to keep the eye in.. but then i also dont have small kids, so yeah..

I start playing after my little girl goes to bed. Also one of the reasons why I can't complete the endurance races in GT5 and looking for something where I can have "shorter bursts of fun".

On the weekend I don't usually play as it eats in family time, unless it's really late in the evening.

No kids here, so otherwise would have been difficult, but my gametime is my wife's dstv time, so it's our time to unwind after the day :=):

Still playing much less than I did before I met her though

I play when I can. Bath daughter, play 5 mins, play with baby boy, play 10mins. Also depends on the wifes mood and if she is coping around the house, first help her, then play. I always play for very short periods. MW 1&2

@Hennie - youre a very lucky man to have a wife that enjoys gaming.

my wifey enjoyed when I played Uncharted 1 and 2. Best games ive ever played. More like a movie with gaming options.

Only get to play on Sunday afternoons while the wife watches the 7de Laan Omnibus.

But nowadays I find myself fighting with my 6 year old son for the controller.
