Hello CD!

I have a Honda Jetski where the black plastics have started to fade. What would be the best product to amend this?

Thnaks!

Also what is the best product to treat fibreglass ?

You could listen to the above suggestions, but seeing that this is a jetski, and will obviously be immersed in water, I don't see either of the above lasting beyond half a trip in the wet or beyond more than two weeks while in storage.

Here's the solution:

1. Log onto PristineDetailing.co.za and register an account
2. Locate the G Techniq stable of products
3. Order yourself a bottle of C4 Trim Restorer
4. Then get a bottle of W2 Cleaner
5. Wait for it to arrive
6. Take some before and after pics and tell us how happy you are

You can expect the W2 and C4 combo to last between a year or two years...

In terms of treating fibreglass, if it's protection that you want, I'd suggest polishing and using a dedicated marine wax. It's specifically designed to be ultra durable against the water.

I used a product called Bumper black on all my cars , as well as the maguires plastic treatment . The bumper black seems like a sort of dye (Not black dye, as I have used it on grey plastic as well , bumpers again) that absorbed into the plastic because once its on and used a few times it stays black for long .. all the parts I have used it on are still black , and this is on a 28 year old E30!

Works very very well .
