Hey guys,

Hoping you guys can offer some advise, my BMW side mirror glass has cracked (right hand side) called the dealership and they looking at R2500.00 for a replacement :hammerhead:

Called a few scrap yards, cheapest is R1000.00, is this my best option?

Part number is: 51167285004

Thanks

I think R1000 is not a bad price.

Called that place, they looking at R1300.00, you right R1000.00 is probably not bad - but just for a piece of glass?

The same thing happened to me when I had my F20. I tried a much cheaper alternative and just had regular car mirror glass cut for me.
The quality was not good, objects looked way to close, my field of view was distorted and it didnt match my other mirrors.

In the end I just bought from BMW and there were no issues.

Also, most BMW mirrors should be heated - I think to avoid misting up/fogging up. Check mirror still heated once replaced.
