F30 LCI Android HU and Towbar Recommendations

Hi All

So after losing my E90 I am getting a decent upgrade. But with that upgrade, I want to add a few things when I get the car. Looking for items below and recommendation's as well :

1. F30 Android Head Unit - 4G Ram/64Gb Storage (8 Core), Android 10. There are a few of these online, especially by Ali Express. (looking more at the ones on Amazon for piece of mind of returning items). So looking for anyone who has experience with this or recommend a proper (not fake) unit. It needs to have Android Auto + Apple Carplay and will also be doing the install myself (Looks fairly simple). I don't have navigation (Standard NBT unit)
2. Need to get my Bicycle onto the car. I have a Rack which mounts onto the boot, but as far as people say it doesn't scratch or make marks, it does. Be it minimal, so therefore I'm looking for options on this and the towbar looks the best solution. Local install in CPT, I need to be able to remove the towbar when not in use, unless someone can install an electronic one for less than the agents do. I want it not to be seen when not in use.

Point number 1 on top will be done ASAP and depending on Point 2's price, will be done in the next 2 months.

Does @trevor_e36m sell these? @Sirus_The_Virus hope you don't mind me asking for more info here. I think this is something a few of us are interested in.
I think @FiRi@Rennzport also sells these.

There is a place in PTA that also sells them(toyotatouchscreens) buuut these are the ones to shy away from. They are cheap looking and have no sim capacity and still on Android nine.

Main reason I went with Avin is that I could spec it as I wanted, and they provide support etc.

These things are mainly the same as long as you get a unit with a full glass front and Snapdragon, then you are sorted.

Not at all.

I'm going for the PEMP one on Amazon. They responded pretty quick when asking for more info on the product. They have a few videos on how to install, what each cable is for on the harness...and another 2 or 3 helpful videos. Product looks solid too. Will post some info once I receive it too.

Also interested in this. Hopefully with the rear view cam option. Please keep us posted.

Just had a look at the Avin unit and with a few of the necessary optional extras its adding up to some serious school fees🙆‍♂️ sheesh!

Item has been shipped, so should be here in the next 2 weeks.

Need advice on the towbar now. Looking for one that I can remove easily and will always only be used for bicycles.

Daaaaym. Amazon is fast! Still waiting for Avin
.. but still waiting for the android 11 to land. All the best with the install. It's a fairly smooth process.

I'm keen to know, and I'm assuming you can...does one sign in to then Google services on the android unit with your Google account so that it syncs things like Google maps places. And can you install the YouTube music app so that you've got you're play lists on the unit? I will def go the 4g sim card way so that the unit has internet for streaming etc.
