F30 Fender badges

I did do a search on this before posting but I couldnt find anything.

What F30 Spec option has the MFender badges?Also anyone know the reason why some F30 Msports have M fender badges and some dont. I thought its because those that have MSport Brakes, double exhaust tips & the hexagon trim extended to door panels etc have them but I have seen quite a few that have normal brakes and full leather panels with M fender badges, unless they added after the fact.

I have a 2013 Msport with normal brakes, leather panels with no Fender badges,single tip exhaust with no fender badge,unless PO removed🤔

So the double exhaust with the different headlights is the LCI model which came into effect from late 2015 onwards.

Although the models prior to that should have the msport badges on the side fenders as well. I was under the impression all m-sports came with those fender badges from the factory.

Wouldn't surprise me if they got stolen by someone while the car was parked somewhere...

Correct. 2014 onwards have the badges.

There are 3 models that are released:
1. Pre-Facelift - (Single exhaust, no fender badges, front and rear old design tails and headlights more or less) E.g. 335i, 330d...
2. LCi - Same as above but with fender badges, double exhaust and facelift engines. 335i & 340i, some 440i, 330d etc...
3. Facelift - You got the new headlight & tail light designs, fender badges, double exhausts, new engines) 340i, 440i, 330d etc...

Between these 3 models, it depends on what was fitted on the production line and as you would see across many models, variety of items differ especially the fender badges and engines.

Example: a 2015 pre-facelift 330d can easily have the engine of the facelift. @Sherwin@xcede can confirm this as well. I have seen 440i pre-facelift cars as well with first revision of B58 motors.

So I have a July 2015 Pre-facelift 320i with fender badges but single exhaust. I also have 442s which I rarely see on the pre-facelifts on the road. My car also has a ton of extras for a 320i which made it really difficult for me to upgrade to a later model as most of the F30s are poorly specc'd.
