F30 Creaking Window lining

My F30 had a recall from BMW and was done free of charge 🤷‍♂️

I have this irritating rattling sound and it comes from the small plastic pin protruding from the door panel which pops up when you unlock the door. It rattles against the plastic trim surrounding it when you drive. Have heard the same sound from my son's similar car. When you hold the pin the sound is gone.

I had the same issue on my previous F30, it was annoying as hell. I just lived with it until I sold the car.

when i had my f30 i got it done at Northcliff bmw ......was under motorplan at the time so dont know what cost would be

I think i'll start off with the Vaseline as mentioned by one poster here and see how it goes.
I've tried living with the sound, but I can't.
