Hi Guys. Need some advice, BMW recently informed me that the Ppk kit was no longer availabil for the 330d. I have already paid for the Ppk kit , 20k so the dealer offered me the Acs kit for 43k this means I have to pay in 23k.

1.Ok so Acs claim a 37kw increase in power and 110Nm. 227kw and 670nm
Do you think they will achieve these figures in reel word.

2. They claim a 80 to 180kmph improvement of 2.4 sec 14.9 to 12.5 , the standard 1/4 mile time for this car is 13.9 sec wil it do under 13 sec 1/4 mile. There is only a 0.2 sec improvement to 100kph 5.3.

3. I will keep my motor plan and 2 year guarantee which is fine, will my car be as reliabil as stock and will it smoke ( diesel smoke ) more. I know it mite use a bit more feul and that's ok.

Why is there no PPK for the 330d? And how can they not know this if you ordered it already?

1) I would think its possible the E90 330ds are almost there with DP and SW.

2) No idea. I dont think anyone would be able to tell you this unless they have done real life testing.

3) As these things go, pushing more boost etc. without supporting mods will make it less reliable, thats not to say you'll have a problem but parts will be more stressed due to the chip. But you're on MP and you dont seem to keep your cars long so does it matter? It may smoke a little more but you still have the DPF so it shouldnt.

Hopefully some one with more knowledge then me will come chime in.

On another note I removed my cats from the 330d and there was no smoke when it was on the dyno. Thats without SW though.

There was a Ppk when I ordered it this was 12 weeks ago, I was informed that they are not supplying it until they have fixed the problems with it. It was stopped in Europa as well. BMW will refund me. Or I can use it towards Acs.

i would be very disappointed if i based the purchase of my car on the ppk. not sure what your situation is, but i may be inclined to ask for a full credit on the car.

Also you paid for it 3 months ago. When that money would have been earning interested in your bank it was earning interest in theirs... Just a thought.
