F30 328i Visual Modifications

I bought my first BMW a few months ago, a 2012 F30 328i with 60 000kms in Mineral Grey. I am loving the carraise:

I decided to do a few visual modifications as I always like my cars to stand out a bit, I know this will not be to everyone's liking but I'd like to share to anyone that's interested and take whatever advice i can get.

I decided on going with a Gloss Black and Carbon Fibre look on the grey as I saw a few example's and was sold.

My to do list is as follows:

Gloss Black M3 Style Grill
Carbon Fibre Side Mirrors
Carbon Fibre Boot Spoiler
Carbon Fibre Rear Bumper
M Performance Exhaust (Not visual really but a must have)

So far I have done the M3 Grill as a friend of mine was selling it at a give away price I couldn't pass it up. The CF Mirrors are at the post office, which is closed on a Sunday :thumbdo: I will have to have a late start to work tomorrow and go pick them up!

Here are some pics of the Grill. I added a red line to the front bumper, as it is a Sport Line I was trying to incorporate the red look. This is where I need advice, yay or nay to the red?

Thought about adding a front lip to the bumper? I find they look pretty slick on the non-M sport bumpers.

Rather the lip than the sticker, in my opinion!! Look also at the bootlid spoiler

There is a hidden lip under the bumper on the base/sport/luxury lines. Right under the red strip you have there. I spray painted mine blue on the previous F30 3 2nd, looked cool. Perhaps look at that instead of the vinyl on there. :=):

Just don't crack you side mirror glass when pulling it out... Made that mistake, and cost me 2.2k to replace. Easier to do than you think:thumbdo:

Yeah, follow a youtube guide or something. Push the glass in at the top, then use your fingers from the underside to pull it up, and work your fingers around it to gently unclip all around.

And not yet. Its definitely happening, but the bank needs to do a few more things their side for financing, so only next weekend will I be flying to Pretoria and getting it. Very excited though:thumbs:
