F30 320i service interval

Hi, my wife's car is now on 22000kms and it still has not requested its 1st service. The on-board computer recommends an oil change at 45000kms....is this normal?

Rather take it in. How old is the car.
Should service it once a year at least. Screw what the computer says

lol you have a Rosslyn special. I had this problem but you gonna be in shit if the time has lapsed for the service cos they will say kilos or time. Definitely not normal

That is strange, I also drive a 2014 F30 and my computer indicated at 20,000km and car has been sent for a service and was done by BMW.
I also suggest that you give them a call soonest.

Bmw oil service is 30000km or 2 years. The time isn't an issue. The 45000 is weird tho.

My parents F30 320i went for its first service this month. Car is 1year and 11months old with around 21 000kms on the clock. Not sure why the computer would say oil change at 45 000kms..

My 335 "stood" at 4000km to go for about 2 months or so, I got gatvol and just took it in for service

Service intervals on F30 320i are 2 years/25000 km. Whichever comes first. I confirmed this with BMW SA when the car didnt request service after 1 year of ownership from brand new.
