Hello Fanatics,

My 2013 320i is approaching 100 000km. I have decided not to extend my motorplan. Are there any common problems with this car out of plan.
If you have encountered anything please share.

Make sure you get the timing chain checked out! Guide rails etc.

I'm sure most fanatics get tired of being told to try searching before posting a thread but in this case, have you tried searching? There is literally tons of info on this very topic.

Was your turbo and timing chain at-least replaced under plan?

N20 has so many issues, not sure where to start

Was your turbo and timing chain at-least replaced under plan?

Timing chain was changed and there was a crack in turbo pipe, which was also changed under plan.

No expert on this car, but I would suggest a strong aftermarket warranty to cover the big ticket items. Motorite V12, sounds good, if it still exists...

No serious issues on mine, just replaced water pump and radiator.
2013 got 180000kms.

Nothing major on mine out of plan.
Timing chain and water pump were replaced while the car was in plan

2012 got 98500kms

+1 on the aftermarket warranty - i just extended mine with motorite for that piece of mind
