Tricky....More 320d's to pick from... but they are over priced, it is not impossible to find a 330d at a similar price point (difficult, but not impossible).

OP mentioned he wants to purchase in Q3....but I suggest start looking from now, and don't hesitate when one comes about.

there are plenty guys (dealers included) on the look out for 330ds...
With all due respect, finding the right 330d is definitely close to impossible, it took me 2 years to find a good one and when it was for sale 15 mins after post they was 3 applications so I beat them with a deposit

Similarly the 330d's are over priced, in fact all BMW diesels are now over priced.

100% agree on having to be quick when a 330d pops up. It's like "now you see it, now you don't"

To add, it also depends on what car(s) you're coming from. Most people would be satisfied with the power from a 20d imo. If you're accustomed to relatively higher powered vehicles and do a lot of highway driving then I'd suggest forking out the extra cash for the 30d.

I have been looking at F-series diesels now for a while, the second hand market has gone mad to put it lightly. 330ds are priced hectic, 320ds ... a decent spec not full so excluding extended cluster, sports auto and front pdc...is R439k plus easy. 330ds if any, are around R390k and up with close to 100k mileage, a good one is around R500k the LCis that is.

Its a tight time to decide to buy now or not, I decided to enjoy the N55 life for a bit longer though thanks to WFH. I think private buys will get you a decent car for a good price but it will take some patience which you have so good luck bud!

Edit: Just looked at low mileage 320d LCis and they are R500k as well, those MPerf Edition (run out Editions) and some normal MSports are close to R500k too at dealers.
