there is no way that bmw dealerships will detect that you had a plug and play chip installed on your car. Just remove it when you take the car for service or when your car needs to go to the dealership for any reason. There is no way of proving that you had installed a chip on the car if the hardware is not there when you take the car in, they might suspect but will never be able to proove it
I have had one in my merc w204 C350 CDI, the car limped and showed engine warning. Unplugged the chip and drove into the dealership to have them clear the warning, then plugged it back with a lower setting. the chips do not work

well racechip pro2 does not work and if all chips are the same, then all of them does not work :thumbdo:
Are you joking? Chips have been proven to work... and so has the racechip. Boost is increased. There is no ways they do not work.

Anyway. Hopefully next week my car will be running and I can do a before and after with the racechip on.

looking forward to seeing the results

Still having boost issues. But if you do a simple Google search you will find the results people have had with them. They work pretty simply. increase fuel. Ecu reads it needs more air and increases boost. Soon though. I will put it on the dyno with before and after.

Here you go here's a link: http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=50992

the only car that people can't seem to get gains from is the m135i 6mt and this is with jb4 or racechip.

Great thanks. Its hauling BUT I can't do hard 1st and 2nd pulls as there's quite a bad prob vibration I have yet to sort out. So I'm probably loosing some kW through the drive train. I do plan to remap though as I have other modifications planned which the RC wont take into account.
