F30 320d AutoStart

Hi All

So I recently got a 320d F30

Usually when stopping it turns the motor off like it should with the Start/Stop but on many occasions it fails to start again. Its like it don't do a full start cycle and then just dies. Then I have to start it manually again

Also I noticed that when Start/Stop sometimes when it does start the cars music don't stop playing or the iDrive does also not turn off so its asif just the engin gets started and no electronics is affected by it and then on other occasions the radio turns off and the iDrive and everything starts up again if that makes any sense. There don't seem to be consistency with it.

Anyone else experiencing this or should I have this checked out?

I haven't come across anything like this, but I would strongly suggest going straight to your dealer and getting them to sort this out! Use that MP to your full advantage, for absolutely anything and everything possible

i would first suggest you tell your car

thereafter if the problem still exists, take it to the dealer asap :thumbs:

Yea lol ...

So I phoned the dealer. Apparently the workshop say they have a bunch of issues like this. They need to get the car back from me for 2 days to reprogram it

I cant think that it would take that long but apparently so ... sigh :bangdesk:
