F30 3 series lights

Hi All

After a few weeks of driving my F30 3 series, I am unhappy with the lights. After a couple of hours of research, I have discovered that I am not the only driver unhappy with the brightness of the stock lights.

I have looked on the BMW website for better Xenon lights, and was shocked that they cost R10 000 for two bulbs.

Can anyone recommend a brand that will fit the 3 series that would provide better vision at night?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Do you have LED headlamps or Xenons or halogens on the car?

I noted that the LEDs on my 2017 320d F30 LCI were not as bright as the Xenons on my 2013 Audi TT 8J, or even the Xenons on my 2016 Volvo V60CC.

If you have halogens, try one of the Osram or Philips bulbs - I think they are called Day Breaker or Ice Blue...

Hi

I have halogens in the car at the moment.

Thanks a lot. I will look into the Phillips lights and look at finding someone to install them.

Rennzport has brought in some LED DS1 xenon replacement bulbs which landed last week.

We looking for members who are willing to fit them for testing and will offer it at cost for those members. I'll have a thread up next in the week and we can gauge interest.
