F30 2012 both KEYS LOST - CAN anyone CODE NEW KEYS??

Lost both of my keys and urgently need a new set on my F30 2012 model any help will be appreciated

I am not sure how reliable other people would be to get replacement keys and have them coded.

Car magazine S.A. did a feature on this a few months back. Try searching their website for the article. They listed a reputable aftermarket company that can "cut" new keys (remote fobs).

Have you considered claiming from your insurance?

Most insurances cover this cost. review your policy and make sure - you may be covered for key replacement

is the car locked? how does one even start to make a copy of something that doesn't exist. From my last discussion with Gert on certain cars, modules have to come out and opened to allow certain information to be read?

he is based in the Builders Warehouse key cutting section (Fourways and Strubensvalley) but he is also mobile. His prices are incredible and a fraction of the dealerships

They can send you one but it needs to be put into the key slot to be completed only
then will it open and close the car

There used to be a scam where criminals would use your VIN number and then collaborate with someone in the dealership, and arrange duplicate keys. This way they would be able to open your car and start it without breaking anything.
