F10 M5 Oil usage

Hi Everyone

What is common oil consumption for The F10 M5? I have a 2014 model with 95k. She is using 500ml every 2000km. Are there any common places that they leak from or is this standard usage?

It can be leaking from one of the layers of the sump or from the turbo oil feeds. You would be smelling it from the turbos. At the sump you might not (and you won't notice a drip because of the belly pans). Also check the PCV tubes/valves.

I am always cautious about sharing oil consumption since it opens cans of worms (a car driven hard regularly will use more oil and will be one kind of 'normal' as opposed to another that doesn't see as much regular/sustained boost and uses 1L in 8000km). I use a lot less than you're describing though.
