f10 Head Unit SD Card

Hi guys! In the back off the f10 Head Unit is an SD card that holds maps and things... mine is corrupt, would anyone be willing to copy theirs for me so I can rebuild mine?

Is it the OEM head unit or an android interface? You should have maps and songs saved to the hard drive on the OEM unit, not an SD Card as far as I remember.

Ya it's OEM, it's an Alpine and it has this 2GB SD card in there. When I read it, there are files there for maps and speech and vehicle profile. Curious, but true!

And if you remove the card, it boots to all features even ones not on this car, including Rolls Royce options.

Right! Solved. Bought a head unit from a breaker, removed the SD card, put it into my unit, booted up. Boom. All features intact and I can store all memory functions again... but one. Can't save profile names. But that's a small price to pay.

Also the breaker unit still had a CD in it... so now I have a club mix for Sunday drives. 😂
