Recently purchased F10 2011, 112k km. Decided to buy the car I've always wanted.

Small few things that need to be done, bumper alignment, wheel refurbishment and polish. Panel gaps need to be adjusted after a poor job done by previous panel shop.

Proud of my ship. :thumb:

Tell me, did this car come from BMW in Vereeneging?

Answered my own question with the registration.

I looked at this car. Had Cois check it out. Car had 236k km on it in 2016 and was recently owned by a panelbeater.

See this thread I posted about this very car: https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=80674

Sorry dude, but if I were you, ask Francois to double check and then go scream for your money back

OP, If it is the same car mentioned here, make a BIG fuss. Seems like Rob pointed this out to the dealer and they still proceeded to sell it...

Correct. Dealer principle was made aware.

I will be happy to give you the correspondence I sent to the dealership as well should you want it

I would honestly open a case of fraud. As that is what it is. Robs correspondence would serve as proof thereof.

I can't believe it was an actual BMW dealership involved in fraud of this magnitude... looks like another branch will be closing down soon... buyer beware no matter where you buy from it seems :dunnoanymore:

OP IMHO go straight to BMW SA with the info you have. I have no doubt that the dealer will just give you the run around for months and blame you for trying to fix things etc... Copy Germany if required... otherwise you will be dragged along to the 6 month window for CPA.

Does BMW SA actually do anything? How serious do they take these things? I feel for the buyer. I say just give the car back, get your money than report it.

Well dealers have been shutting down left right and centre in some instances for fraud... so something is happening. Surely a dealership should be afraid of conducting business like this.

Thanks for all the support guys. I will definitely be taking this further today and will the dealership to return their vehicle.
This is misrepresentation and the definition of fraud.
