Extended MP on e92 ///M3

Hi all.

I posted a topic a few weeks ago about MP and to extend to not to. Just under R13,700 later I extended by another 12 months last week. Mileage is 69XXX Km's. the cost of the last service on the ///m3 was R16 000. My next service would be due in Oct 2013 or 20 000km so the the better option I felt was to bite the bullet now and just extend so I know come Oct the service will be covered. And anything breaks in between, MP will cover as well.

Just wanted to fill those interested in, should you be deciding to extend or not.

What I find really strange is the ammount of work done by BMW while under MP and then, when MP is gone, suddenly costs are way down as well as breakages. I know this out of experience with at least 4 Beemers :thumbs:

+1, there is no chance that oil service, or inspection 1 is close to R16K.

inspection 2 maybe, with brake disc.

My warranty extensions just come through as well £850 for the year. Not service pack, just warranty

I got quoted 13k, and my car's only doing 33k kms :nonono:

I also paid just over R13k for extension. On my Z4M '08 with 85000km on.

There was a few issues that I had picked up that needed to be changed as well. Minor stuff like bonnet shocks, passenger side window switch was a bit sticky. But nor mal service included wipers and and brake pads as well. I can't find a copy of the service invoice so not too sure. Will check up next time round at BMW.
