Extended Motor Plan past 5 years

Does anyone know if BMW offered extended motor plan options to limited production cars like the CSL?

As I understand it, the max you can extend your motor plan is 2 years beyond the original 5 year? The reason I ask is that my 1 M series coupe is 4 years old next year, (time flies), and given the limited numbers, I was wondering if BMW would make exceptions to these vehicles?

They cover the risk with the cost of the thing.
So you can have two identical cars, with the exact same extras mileage etc, but one has had engine troubles. BMW will charge you more to extend the MP on that car, than it identical brother to cover the risk of it being problematic after the extension.

In terms of limited edition cars, scarce stock cars etc, they will still extend, just watch the price. Although, if it has been troublesome in the 4 years you have had it, expect it to cost more than if it hasn't given you a single issue.

In any event, when you get an idea what BMW is going to charge you to extend, please give us a heads up.

Thanks for the advice. The car has not given me any trouble, having said that, its only got a few thousand kms on it, its not my daily vehicle.
