So our "new" X5 3.0si (E70 2007) has quad-tips at the back, looking under, the system looks OEM, but it appears most likely to be the "BMW Eisenmann Exhaust" - see:

(also see attached)
Now, I believe the previous owner loved it, but I do not. I want the car as quiet with its original exhaust system. Is this possible to replace it with the normal exhaust without much issues? What parts do I need? Can an Indy do this safely?
The quad-tips look nice, but the noise - I dont like, especially that the level of noise does not equate to the actual performance of the car. It sounds "fast and furious" when in reality its slow and lethargic.
