Hi

So i got myself a set of 18'' Ellipsoids.

I am playing around with the idee of colour change.
I also like the rims in original colour.

What do you think will look best on the Silver BMW E46

1st: Black Chrome

Haven't seen it before so not sure if there is a place Cape Town who could do this.

2nd: Gunmetal grey

Original wheel colour is closest to Titan Silver, it will flow well with the car. Put the wheels onto the car first and then decide via photoshop.

I like black wheels - a nice satin black would contrast well with the silver IMHO.

Love the ellipsoids look :clapper:

I'd say the gunmetal or black, Personally I think silver works really well with dark accessories

I will post pictures with the rims fitted to the car and ask friend to do a bit of photoshop.

I am leaning towards keeping it std

I suggest u get a can of plasti-dip ,R190 each. I got mine a few weeks back from the Boksburg flea market.

maybe spray one wheel and see how it looks, if you are not happy with it , you can always peel the paint off your wheel and keep it original without potentially causing irreversible damage to your very beautiful wheels.

if happy with the outcome, then you can always apply more durable paint work.

here are my wheels dipped in black, and once im fed up with the look i will simply peel the paint off. in total i used 3 cans, @ 5 layers each wheel.

good luck!
