I was down in Durbz for quite a while & managed to gather loads of data. Also had same interesting runs down there ;) New GTR, M6 cab, M3's, 335's etc. Gathered some data on our 12.6 second record breaking M3's as well, so we can plan how we will go about breaking our records even further.

Most of the data is our customer's so I will just post mine. I had 4 runs at a spot Andre & I have been using for years. Reason being it is the flattest road I have ever tested on, even flatter than ODI & Tarlton. It is a 1 metre drop over the course of 900m.

So all 4 runs I got 2.0 60ft's. On street tyres with pump fuel. Times were 12.7, 12.6, 12.6, 12.5. The other M3's ran about 0.1-0.2 slower than what they run at the drags. Of course reason being we all had NO semi's no fuel etc. So in street trim with no track prep. Makes a difference to the times.

The 1st couple of runs I couldn't rev all the way as the oil takes forever to warm up & let you go past 8500rpm. So I was revving to the stock limiter. Tends to really increase your trap when you can rev higher.

Did an 800m & 1km & got:

223 on the 800 & 237.7 on the 1km. BTW we vbox'd a stock DCT coupe, carbon roof. It actually ran better than I though it would. Did a best of 13.1 @ 175. Didn't get a chance to Vbox it on the 800 & 1km.

Here is a detailed graph where you can see the height of this venue and how much it drops.
