E93 335i WOW

So i see a beautiful white e93 335i this weekend, take it for a test drive...man, i was so excited...225kw of power!!, the only cars more powerfull i've driven is a e46 M3 and C63 507....this car was going to wow me, i just knew it!!!....the Sales guy still tells me, " nee boet die kar voel ni rerig vinniger as dai GTI daar nie" got in the drivers seat, three people in the car...get to the first Robot...get my revs up a bit...drop clutch...Boom we off....2nd gear...no Kick...where are the turbo's?? the car feels flat, 3rd gear...it moves but hell no, thats no where close to 225kw..., next robot...same thing, this time i really push hard...this thing is laaaazy, picks up on its own time!!!.. i would love to drive a 335i thats moves like a turbo charged 3 litre BMW should, this thing disappointed me.:blueCry::blueCry:

i will try find another one to drive..

I used to drive a modded Gti, and now I have an E90 335i, its not as raw as my GTI but when I plant her she moved on command and before you can blink your doing 200kmh.

My E92 is stock but moves really well...only problem I've had so far is slowing down to keep to the speed limit..:rollsmile:

Depends on who's driving! The E93 330i is lazy but the 335i is only a tad slower than the E92. I think the one he test drove is faulty.

Xack, go test drive another one. A GTI has never been a problem for me.

Thanx for the feedback guys, iam sure this thing was faulty, it had big over-sized pipes on and the bottom cover of the dash was gone, so...i dont even know what to think. Lets hope i get to drive a 335i that performs like one!!!:coolShake:

Yeah I think the e93 weight is a disadvantage.

When i was looking for a car i test drove one too it was fast but nothing brutal I think top end is where it shines. Then i drove a m135i and that was a day and night difference !
