Hi ALL

Just got my first BMW: E90 335i M-Sport Edition been 1month with her and love it.
Got the car with Updated Software & 135i gearbox with short shift ratio
thanks to TorqueTech. Got 160k km.

Im new to forums so dont know how to post new threads.
Have a problem:
1. The exterior light warning stays on even though I checked and replaced all bulbs needed or seemed to be replaced.

All my other problems was explained thanks to this awesome fanatics forums.

I had the same thing with my rear brake lights. Replaced bulbs everything worked, but error remained. If error stayed on too long I think it gets stored and needed to be cleared. In the end I landed up taking to BMW to sort out. Felt like a right tosser taking my car in to sort out a bulb, but R150 and it is was done!

Will disconnecting the battery for 15 mins not help clear the stored code?

Hi, probably not, possibly make more issues. Woodies sounds about on the money.

They need to reset the counter on the bulb error, it most probably reach the max count. Everytime you start the car it counts up, think to a max of 40 or something, 2 a day for work and back, 20 days. Hopefully I am on the right direction here :tiptoe:

See, dont let the bulb go for too long :=):

Might be wrong about the total counter max limit but you get the idea, and PS this is for most of your car.

If I could I would have gone and shot the engineer for this stupid design.
