Hi Guys,

Anyone know if there is anyone selling an aftermarket exhaust for an e92 that won't void the motor plan?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

One thing is your motor plan, but also make sure your insurance is happy about your upgrades. There is often fine print about any performance mods that would void a payout if not clearly stated up front.

Not sure where my comment went. But Akrapovic, ACS and m performance

Yip only these 3 DieselFan suggests are MP approved. Checkout Langston racing, they are the local agents for Akra and I got a great deal on the full exhaust as its old stock if you got a N54. I got some gains, but really paid for the sound and keeping MP intact. Sound is 100% worth it, looks pretty good too.

The last time I spoke to Langston, I was told that I couldn't buy an Akra unless it was via BMW, and I could have almost charged my car for the price BMW were charging.

I think maybe because they were sitting with stock in their warehouse that they needed to move. Paid 50% less than what BMW quoted, just had to have BMW do the installation. 50% of the BMW price still nearly broke the bank:blueCry:

I have a OEM back box with the mod carried out, went in numerous times without detection. Pm me if you're interested

Only time you will have an issue with the oem back box mod is when they remove it and see the welds on the top, a routine service is indeed fine.

Yup... Only time they'll need to remove it is for suspension/diff work

I've got an MPerformance exhaust - rear section with decated OEM Xpipe.
Sound is exotic, not loud and obnoxious. Since the MPerformance box is made from inconel, you get a unique sound that changes as it warms up. Box also has titanium tips with lazer etched //M logos. Quality is first class.

Put what ever exhaust you want, just remember to take it out when the car goes into the dealership
