E91 touring vs E39 touring

Ok so when i get my car sorted I want to let it go as my confidence in it is gone and I cant get use to auto. I want manual.

Now there is so far 2 options I'm looking at but looking for some in put.

option 1:
2002 E39 bmw 525i touring MANUAL( very very rare)

now i'm in cape town. If the 525 was in cpt i would leen towards the 525 but I dont want to buy a car far away as you always have a risk but I love space which the 525 have.

what you guys think?
also which one will hold it's value better?

Man, just take a plane and go look at the 525i. It is really a rare find, and I'm sure you will be happy with it! Plus I think its a much better car than a measly 3 series, but then I'm biased . Go test drive the 325, you know what the 525 is like (albeit auto) then make the choice, it will be much easier then

I would go for the e39 plainly because is looks so much better that the e91.

525 hands down. Gopher is going to my wife and plans are afoot to get a 5 series tourer. Also I have a client that has one and it is AWSOME.
