Hi Guys,

I am about to buy a 320d e91 manual with 104k on the clock for R110k (private sale). The car is relatively neat. If you could please give your thoughts on the highlighted items? Looks like it has had two clutches in the first 80 000 kilos! Is this normal?
Much appreciated.

Previous owner couldn't drive a manual propperly!
Slipping clutch and ball bearing are the main problems.

Vibration damper changed so all problematic things sorted!

Else looks good

Thanks Rolf.

Any idea what "Shock absorber on front axle Permanent malfunction" means? Is it indicating the normal shocks or some other special shock?

thanks again!

looks like it was used as a towing vehicle for large ships ;)

looks okay... they changed most things and the clutch will last a while now...

Hey man, where did you find such a nice car for that price, its well worth it, i paid R120 000 for a 2005 E90 320d sportspack, with 135 000km on it, I say take the car before someone else does and you will regret not taking it,

Have seen this issue before on a E90 330d, it basically means that the shocks gave up and were replaced with new one's.

Great wheels for the wife.

We’ve had the Auto for the past 2 years, Mileage was quite high when we got it and it is now around 138k kms. Turbo and vibration damper was replaced under motorplan.

I wanted to trade it in on something newer recently. No way, my wife would NOT let go of it.

Enjoy

I would mainly be worried about the first item on the list - and the fact they had to replacing the ball bearings - except I am not sure where the ball bearings fit in with the crankshaft.

I would leave it to be honest... My 2c
