Please help

This morning i changed rear disks and brake pads on my wifes 07 330d.

When i drove out the driveway, the abs, rear brake shoes and tyre pressure indicator lights illuminated in yellow.

I cant get them to go off again.

Will the lights reset if i drive over a certain distance? Do i need to reset via diagnostic machine?

The disks I replaced with are ATE.

Anyone with some advice will be greatly appreciated.

Did you put New sensors in? If you did then try googling for the process to reset the service interval via the dash cluster....

I replaced the sensor as well. Googled, tried... nothing

By the way... the brake service indicator wasnt activated yet. It still shows 12000km's but the pads were almost dead.

Hence i dont believe i can reset service intervals yet.

Chances are there is something wrong with the rear wear sensor, or it is damaged - this happened to me a few years back when I pulled my brakes apart to clean and apply some copper grease which the agents had neglected to do. I had accidentally damaged the wires on the front wear sensor and had the same (sounds like the same) warning lights.

Check here...

Brake wear sensor will not activate ABS or tyre pressure.

you probably damaged/unplugged/fiddled with the wheel speed sensor, and as such, you have the warning message.

Yes it will self cancel if the wheel input is corrected, although diagnostics will be needed to clear the fault in memory, but abs light should go out.

Try taking the WPS sensor out, make sure you did not uplug the wrong sensor when fiddling in the connection box for the wear indicator (most probably what you did)

Clean the WPS, and replace. it should solve you issue.

I also suspect it to be the wheel speed sensor... maybe needs to be cleaned or replaced.

I didnt unplug the WPS and it isnt self cancelling.

Will clean WPS tomorrow and see if it resolves the issue otherwise will replace WPS and have stored codes cleared.

Will update.

I had the same problem on my e 90 a few years back I did the brake change and did not change the sensors as the warning had not came on and I cheched the sensor heads and they looked fine , they looked the same as the ones I had replaced on a e 46 before , and I hadent had problems , when I drove there was a christmas tree on the speedo lights everywhere , evrentually iI took it in to the dealer he told me the sensors on s e90 are duel ones and needed changing every time , the lights where on because the car thaught there where no pads on the car
