E90 Sunroof

Hi

Can anyone assist me i have a e90 32d.

The sunroof is stuck open and the sun shade is pushed all the way back and i have an error on the dash and the sunroof won't close.

I just tried that but no luck

Have you tried to manually close the roof. Check the owners manual. You need to pop off the cover at the switch and there's a manual crank that you turn to open/close the roof.

Re-Initialization will help.
OBD II software will also perform reset first.

I fixed this multiple times for a lady at work. What you need to do is the follwoing


1. climb in the car, put key in ignition
2. Close door and switch car on all the way to start but dont start the car
3. Now hold the sunroof button down, in other words press the button in upwards.
4. hold this down the whole time, after about 20 sec the sunroof will start moving, remember to keep hlding the button in.
5. Wait for the sunroof the completely open and close before letting go of the button.

Check the fuses behind the glove box as well, mine did the same and it finally was a blown fuse....
