E90 Sound Question

I'm trying to figure out what sound system I have in my car. Anyone know how to tell the difference between the HiFi and Logic7 systems in a pre-LCI E90?

Never mind - found out if you have the centre speaker and speakers on the rear door, then it's logic7.

there are 3 systems you couls have in the E90:

1. Stock professional
2. Hi-Fi upgraded
3. Logic 7

and then, the oh so lovely......HK, but we all know the difference for that lol. if you got 4 speakers on the back, then you have hi-fi, have you figured yours yet?

Jis, I am so disappointed in the BMW's sound system. Had a ride in my buddy's Ford Figo last weekend, and sound blew me away, compared to my E90.... :nonono:

Yes, but regardless, the I6 is still better than any sound system. I think the normal professional system is fine, better than the system in my Wife's E46 which is also the standard professional system.

MSM, why not mail BMW and get the full spec of the car? Then you will know everything...

Prini - the 4 speakers at the back are positioned on the parcel shelf, but the angels are slightly different from jsut having the normal 2, thats the Hi-Fi loudspeaker. the Logic 7 is better than the Hi-Fi, more power output speakers.

MSM - if you have logic 7, which i am sure you mu:thumbs:st have, you will enjoy the system. really good balance.
Also- go to any dealership or call them and give them the VIN, they can even produce the original receipt and order dockets for the vehicle, i did that for mine and thats how i ended up knowing what extras came with the car from the factory.

i got a document with the sounds option, not high leveled but not detailed too much either. i can mail you the stuff guys, pm me your mail addy whoever wants it.

i mailed the dealership that my car was originally purchased from for the specs, i looked their details up, sent a mail and the salesmen called me back, alternatively, any dealership can help you if you into the dealership and just ask a helpful salesman.
