E90 Run Flat Tyres

Hi Guys

Has anyone decided to replace the run flats with normal tyres? I am thinking of throwing a thin spare in the boot and running normal tyres.

Any concerns with doing this and does insurance have a problem?

Insurance do not have a problem as long as the tyres is roadworthy.

I have changed from 16 RFT to 19 Normal :rollsmile:

I bought it a year ago, from a guy who seems not to be on the forum anymore, but check the forum and gumtree, they pop up often. not sure how much they are at BMW themselves.

Even just google bmw space saver and select south africa only. I found mine on junkmail. Paid R2100.
