e90 pre lci msport vs LCI msport suspension

Guys,

is there a differance on the pre lci to the lci in terms of suspension or wheel offset?

My pre LCI msport had 19s on with 265/35/19 and never touched even with a load.

I put the same wheels on my dads LCI msport and it touchs so bad even with no load.

Both had new shocks done in december at bmw.

Is it maybe the bumper or are the LCIs lower? I can see its abit lower when they are parked side by side.

According to the guys at BMW, the lci suspension was changed completely, apparently its a softer aluminium suspension :dunno:

The LCi had a wider track which means the rear wheels sit further out. LCi's would actually take a rima with a higher offset in the rear, compared to pre-lci.

Correct :=):

That along with the other "1000" changes, the LCI is a lot more refined, and feels bigger in size when sitting in the drivers seat :fencelook:

Thats something i am not sure about, if i had info regarding the difference in the track i might be able to work it out. Hoping somebody know the difference in rear track width. Will check if i can find out the info as well.
EDIT: check here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451207
8mm wider on each to me, would mean 8mm higher offset or if you are lucky, 10mm narrower tyre, but ensure the rolling circumference is within spec.
