Tried in the showroom section but kinda messed it up and I can't find how to delete the threads I made lol. Stage 2 is awesome.though

Hi Guys iam new on the group can you please help with code my e90 don’t wanna start it only krank and give me codes F44 - Unknown fault code

2A67 - Unknown fault code 2A59 - Unknown fault code 2A5B - Unknown fault code 2A6B - Unknown fault code

2A59 valvetronic, eccentric shaft sensor
2A5B valvetronic, eccentric shaft sensor
2A6B Valvetronic Power limitation.

Sorry also just checked the F44 error code as i didnt see it last night...
are you sure its F44 or do you mean 2F44...

If its the 2F44 then you have a problem with the ignition key/battery/EWS/CAS module not aligned with the DME .. this would explain the reason for the car not starting.

Im new to the forum so please forgive me if im on the incorrect thread.

I currently own a 2004 325ci. Im interested in buying a 2010 E90 N54 335i but keep being put off by guys saying they have endless problems and I need to keep 50K spare.

Can anyone please give me honest advice or should I opt for the 330i

It would be best to start a new thread, but since you asked they do require a "hands on approach" to keep them running well.

That 2010 is approaching 10 years old now, so regardless of mileage you want to take into consideration that you will need to factor in the costs of:

- waterpump/thermostat
- coil packs and plugs
- fuel pumps
- turbos
- auto gearbox (if applicable)

and all the other normal/scheduled maintenance that comes with a car that was probably driven enthusiastically during the first part of its life.

Tackling them one at a time isn't so bad but if you need to attend to more than one of the above in a short period of time then it can get expensive, and more so if you are paying someone else to do the work.
