E90 Needs shocks - Please advice

Hi guys

Its time to get new shocks for my car, the ride is getting quite bouncy now.

I don't have money for the fancy Koni, Bilstien or anything glamorous.

I just wanna know how an E90 with standard suspension will behave with Gabriel or Monroe shocks.

I had Gabriels on my E46 (standard suspension) and they were pretty good, they held beautifully. Just wonder if I will get the same result with the E90.

Thanks

in my opinion Gabriel or Monroe are a serious downgrade from what came on the car from factory :(

Koni STR.T are not to badly priced:

front R 2810 a Pair
rear R 1780 a Pair

but i understand if the budget is not there... any shock is better and a blown shock :)

Can I get my shocks at the same price? :fencelook:

I think gas riders from Gabriel will be:
Front R1800
Rear R1300

IMHO the extra R1000/R1500 will soon be forgotten given the quality of the drive that will be experienced as well as the longevity.

I would buy the fronts first and then the rears or vice versa as budget allows but I would not fit Gabriels or Monroe.

Just my 2c which by all accounts is not worth much.......

A week ago I replaced my shocks with Monroe's and they not bad at all, unless ofcourse you plan on taking your car to the track. For normal everyday driving they doing the trick for me

Hi, i need to replace the rear shocks on my E90, 320D,sportpack, i have phoned a couple spare shops, no luck, and OE are way too expensive.

I can change it myself, must just get it.

Any contact numbers in the east rand area would be appreciated
